I am a current graduate student at William & Mary in Computer Science with a specialization in Computational Operations Research. Expected graduation date December 2020. I am interested in software engineering of large-scale machine learning systems. I am a recent graduate of the College of William & Mary where I achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in computational statistics.


Graduate Teaching Assistant

Math 410 - Advanced Statistical Data Analysis

I work as a teaching assistant for the advanced undergraduate course focusing on advanced statistical methods. I grade and annotate assignments, answer questions, and overall make myself available to students for various course-based needs.

I worked with the admissions department to model student matriculation as a function of various factors available in the students' application; generated weekly reports about model development process; met weekly with the Dean of Admission to present my findings.

Software Engineer Intern

Zest AI (formerly ZestFinance)

Worked on the ZAML Software Project to make credit accessible and transparent; developed infrastructure on which machine learning models can be created; worked extensively on an AutoDocumentation feature for model explainability; pushed code to production.

Graduate Research Project

Datalab at William & Mary

I work in the DataLab research lab with Professor Pradeep Kumar to make use of recent developments in Graph Neural Networks with respect to both entity classification and fact recovery in the context of a large scale knowledge base.

Final Research Project - Internet Algorithms and Economics

  • Surveyed the literature for auto-completion methods on an incomplete knowledge graph
  • Built a model to classify whether two real-world entities were related in a certain way
  • Made use of oversampling procedures to deal with an imbalanced data set
  • Achieved 92% accuracy on a test set (S.O.T.A 96%)

Baseball Hit-Prediction

I wrote a fully functional program to ingest baseball-related data, extract relevant at-bat data and anaylyze it to predict whether player X will get a hit off of pitcher Y.
